Position Qualification:

Applicants must be:

Non-serving: Holding a Bachelor of Education or a general degree with University Certificate of Education (UCE) obtained from accredited institutions

OR

Serving Secondary School Teachers: At Grade T.J with a minimum of four (4) years' teaching experience at that grade

OR

Serving Primary School Teachers: Holding a Bachelor of Education or a general degree with University Certificate of Education (UCE) from accredited institutions

Sciences

Technical Subjects (Technical Drawing, Metal Work, Wood Work, Clothing & Textiles, and Home Economics)

Languages

Computer ICT

Creative & Performing Arts

Special Needs Education

Additional Requirement:

Applicants must be registered teachers with the Teachers Council of Malawi

Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidates will carry out the following duties:

Identify and prepare teaching and learning materials

Prepare Schemes of work and maintain Records of work covered

Devise methods and resources of teaching and assessing students

Create and maintain a conducive teaching and learning environment

Maintain students' discipline

Conduct students' formative and summative assessments

Maintain all classroom records

Liaise with parents/guardians regularly on issues of learner performance

Attend to all school activities as may be required
