We're looking for a senior and experienced Strategic Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Lead to support the Leaders in Teaching (LIT) Coordination Platform in Tanzania.

Tanzania launched a large secondary education reform in 2025. Multiple partners are now supporting its roll out — and we need someone who can turn that effort into a coherent, collective impact story.

Key areas of work:

- Deepening and refining a shared Theory of Change

- Developing a cross-partner MEL framework

- Aligning indicator definitions and methodologies across partners

- Identifying shared indicators that demonstrate combined system-level impact

- Supporting bi-annual shared reporting and MEL coordination processes

- Facilitating quarterly MEL working group discussions

- Supporting various requests and cross-partner learning initiatives

Strong candidates will have deep MEL experience, comfort working across multi-stakeholder consortia, and the ability to translate messy program data into sharp strategic insights. Experience with large foundations and government education systems is a real plus.
