Malawi – Senior Programme Coordinator

We are looking for a Senior Programme Coordinator to support the effective implementation, training, monitoring and reporting of the Think Equal programme in Malawi, with a specific focus on Early Childhood Education. Working closely with the Ministry of Education and supporting the Malawi Country Manager and implementing partners, the role will support the delivery of Think Equal across the country’s education system and help strengthen government ownership of the programme.

A key focus of the role is systems strengthening, building the Ministry’s capacity to independently lead and sustain Think Equal’s Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programme implementation and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) processes. The role will also support the Ministry with programme planning, coordination of training, preparation of classroom and teacher lists, development of training plans, monitoring and reporting, and the distribution of Think Equal books and resources.

Stream History DocumentariesEngagement: 12-month consultancy agreement as an independent contractor, averaging approximately 40 hours per week, as needed to perform the services and meet agreed deliverables.

Fee: USD $1,800 per month as a consultancy fee.

Project Lead: Africa Regional Manager.

Reporting to: Country Manager.

Location: Remote. International travel may be required on an ad hoc basis, subject to advance agreement.
