Credit Data CRB Limited, a leading Malawian Credit Reference Bureau based in Blantyre, is seeking a qualified and experienced Security Officer to join our team and enhance our security operations.

Reporting To: HEAD OF SECURITY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement bureau's security/safety policies and conduct daily inspections of premises and equipment
• Monitor assets movement, detect potential losses, investigate hazards/irregularities, and ensure facilities are secured at close of business
• Supervise security guards and reception personnel; drill staff on safety and emergency evacuation protocols
• Coordinate with the Police, emergency services, and external organizations regarding safety issues
• Identify necessary security equipment and ensure all company insurance policies (vehicle, computer, staff) are up to date

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• A relevant professional qualification in Security Management
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in security operations

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• High level of integrity, vigilance, and physical fitness
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in basic computer applications
