EPay Mobile Money is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Sales Manager – Central Region to be based in Lilongwe.
Position: Sales Manager – Central Region
Location: Lilongwe
Reporting To: Head of Sales and Marketing
Job Purpose
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, customer acquisition, agent network expansion, and merchant development within the Central Region. The role will focus on increasing usage of EPay Mobile Money products and services while ensuring strong field team performance and market presence.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate sales officers and field teams within the Central Region.
- Drive customer acquisition and increase active usage of EPay Mobile Money services.
- Expand and manage agent and merchant networks across assigned districts.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Identify new business opportunities and market expansion areas.
- Coordinate sales campaigns, activations, and promotional activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, merchants, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor agent performance, liquidity, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer issues.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Train and mentor field teams to improve productivity and performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably in mobile money, banking, telecommunications, or financial services.
- Proven experience in managing sales teams and achieving targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of mobile money operations and agent network management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s Licence will be an added advantage.
