The Civil Society Organizations Nutrition Alliance (CSONA) is a coalition of over 110 local and international civil society organizations working to improve nutrition in Malawi and support the Government in scaling up nutrition interventions across the country.

About the Project

The Nutrition Smart Community (NSC) Project is implemented by Welthungerhilfe (WHH) in partnership with CSONA and the Kusamala Institute of Agriculture and Ecology. The project aims to improve food security and contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 2 (Zero Hunger) through sustainable, multisectoral approaches to nutrition.

Job Summary

CSONA is looking for a qualified Project Driver to provide safe, reliable, and timely transport services for project staff and support the implementation of project activities in Mangochi.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain organizational vehicles in good condition.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, insurance, Certificates of Fitness (COF), and vehicle tax compliance.
• Ensure vehicles are clean inside and outside at all times.
• Report vehicle faults, damages, accidents, or mechanical problems promptly.
• Safely transport staff, partners, and visitors to official assignments.
• Assist with office errands and logistical support for project activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Valid professional driving licence.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience driving organizational vehicles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience maintaining accurate vehicle logbooks.
