Job Description
Agrivest Ltd, a leading farming and agribusiness company based in Lilongwe, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Procurement Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the organization’s supply chain, sourcing and purchasing activities efficiently and cost-effectively
Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing
Prepare, issue and manage purchase orders
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Maintain accurate procurement records and company policies ensure compliance with
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience in procurement or supply chain management
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Must be computer literate and have experience with Excel
Traceable referees
Added Advantage:
Knowledge and experience in sourcing farming machinery/vehicle spare parts and agricultural equipment.
