OVERVIEW

Our client, an innovative company in the event technology and digital marketplace sector, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of its growing event management platform. This role is ideal for a strategic, tech-savvy professional with strong leadership skills who can oversee platform operations, drive customer satisfaction, build strategic partnerships, and support the growth of a fast-paced digital business.

COMPENSATION: MK 800,000 (Gross)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overseeing platform operations and quality control.
• Managing service provider onboarding and verification.
• Supervising customer support and conflict resolution.
• Monitoring platform performance.
• Developing operational procedures.
• Building strategic partnerships.
• Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to grow the platform.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Leading continuous process improvements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in operations management, preferably within a technology company, digital platform, or marketplace business.
• Proven experience managing teams and customer-facing operations.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Tech-savvy with experience using digital tools and online platforms.
• Strong understanding of operational planning, quality assurance, and process improvement.
• High integrity, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
