1. DISEASE CONTROL SURVEILLANCE ASSISTANT (DCSA) — 30 POSTS

Grade: HM/M11

Salary: Within the Grade HM/M11 salary segment.

Reports to: Chief Environmental Health Officer

Location: Thyolo District Council – Rural Health Facilities

Qualifications and Requirements

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), with passes in Biology and Mathematics.
Direct employees working under Thyolo District Council who possess the stated qualifications will have an added advantage.

2. HOSPITAL ATTENDANT — 30 POSTS

Grade: HP/M14

Salary: Within the Grade M14 salary segment.

Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer

Qualifications and Requirements

Junior Certificate of Education (JCE).

3. SECURITY GUARD — 20 POSTS

Reports to: Senior Clerical Officer

5. REVENUE COLLECTOR — 8 POSTS

Grade: M/M11

Reports to: Trade Officer

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must possess either of the following:

A Certificate in Business Administration under ABE; or
A Certificate in Financial Accounting (CIFA).

6. STORES CLERK — 1 POST

Grade: M/M11

Salary: Within the Grade M/M11 salary segment.

Reports to: Stores Officer

Qualifications and Requirements

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
A Certificate in Purchasing and Supply Chain or another related qualification from a recognised institution.
