OVERVIEW

Montessori College of Education is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Lecturer in Early Childhood Education. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and diploma courses, supervise student teaching practice and research projects, and participate in curriculum development and programme review.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach undergraduate and diploma courses.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
• Supervise student teaching practice and research projects.
• Conduct research and publish scholarly work.
• Participate in curriculum development and programme review.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in college committees and community engagement activities.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Early Childhood Development (ECD) or higher qualification is preferred.
• Teaching experience in higher education will be an added advantage.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
• Research and publication record will be an added advantage.
• Excellent teaching and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good ICT skills.
• Commitment to academic excellence.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
