Position: Land Surveyor

Solid Ground Limited is inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Land Surveyor.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct land and boundary surveys
• Measure and record land features accurately
• Prepare survey reports, maps, and drawings
• Use surveying equipment such as GPS, total station, and leveling instruments
• Assist in land subdivision and plot demarcation
• Verify land boundaries and property lines
• Work closely with engineers, planners, and management
• Ensure compliance with land and surveying regulations
• Maintain survey records and documentation

Qualifications and Requirements

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
• Diploma or Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or related field
• Registration with relevant professional bodies is an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in land surveying
• Knowledge of surveying software and equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and report writing skills
• Must be reliable, honest, and detail-oriented
• Valid driving license is an added advantage
