Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) is a statutory body with mandate to develop, promote, encourage and control all forms of sport in the country.

In order to fulfill its mandate, MNCS invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill various vacant positions as follows:

ICT Technician

Grade: CS7

Reporting to: ICT Officer

Position function:

To provide technical support for ICT systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of hardware, software and network infrastructure.

Main duties

1. Assisting in the maintenance, repairing and servicing of computer hardware and software.
2. Providing first-line technical support to ICT users.
3. Assisting in ICT equipment installations, upgrades and configurations.
4. Providing support services to various ICT systems
5. Supporting network setups, monitoring and troubleshooting.
6. Assisting with Council’s updates of electronic communication channels
7. Supporting the implementation of ICT policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma in ICT/Computer Science, or related field.
• Degree will be an added advantage
• 3 years ICT supports experience
