Purpose of the Job: To manage kitchen operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing kitchen checklists
• Developing and promoting new menu ideas and special food events
• Allocating work and supervising staff
• Monitoring sectional plans and budgets
• Maintaining kitchen inventory
• Preparing duty rosters for kitchen staff
• Preparing food
• Implementing hotel standard operating procedures
• Liaising with food and beverage staff on event management and menu compilation
• Ordering supplies from stores
• Compiling and submitting reports
• Up-selling hotel products
• Inducting new kitchen employees
• Participating in food costing

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism or Food Production, with four (4) years' working experience
