Job Description
Lifestyle Boutique Hotel is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Head Chef.
Purpose of the Job: To manage kitchen operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing kitchen checklists
- Developing and promoting new menu ideas and special food events
- Allocating work and supervising staff
- Monitoring sectional plans and budgets
- Maintaining kitchen inventory
- Preparing duty rosters for kitchen staff
- Preparing food
- Implementing hotel standard operating procedures
- Liaising with food and beverage staff on event management and menu compilation
- Ordering supplies from stores
- Compiling and submitting reports
- Up-selling hotel products
- Inducting new kitchen employees
- Participating in food costing
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism or Food Production, with four (4) years' working experience
