Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
A Graphic Designer is responsible for transforming concepts into visually compelling designs that align with a company's branding and marketing goals. They work across multiple platforms, including websites, social media, advertisements, brochures, packaging, and other promotional materials, ensuring consistency and clarity in visual communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop creative visual concepts, including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos.
- Collaborate with clients, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet business objectives.
- Use industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Express) to produce high-quality graphics.
- Revise and refine designs based on client or team feedback to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
- Maintain consistency in branding across all visual materials and platforms.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Stay updated on design trends, typography, color theory, and emerging technologies to enhance creative output.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Web Development, Computer Science, Visual Arts, or a related field is typically preferred.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in the same field.
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
- Strong creative flair, attention to detail, and ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs.
- Proficiency in design software and digital tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant platforms.
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout design, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to adapt designs for various media formats, including print, web, and social media.
