Green Economies Made Simple (GEMS) is inviting applications for its Innovation Hub Internship Program, a practical training program focused on building Malawi’s circular economy through recycling, manufacturing, and sustainable business development. Interns will work on real projects and gain experience in areas such as:

• Business administration and operations

• Sales and marketing

• Accounting and financial management

• Recycling technologies and equipment processes

• Product development and small business development

We are intentionally building a multidisciplinary team, and encourage applications from backgrounds such as engineering, business administration, sales & marketing, accounting, environmental studies, and entrepreneurship.

The program provides hands-on experience working with recycling systems, circular economy products, and startup development. At the end of the program, top-performing interns may be supported to continue successful innovations as independent businesses.

Support Provided

• Transport stipend: MWK 300,000 per month

• Lunch provided at the Hub

• Practical mentorship and business exposure

Who Should Apply : Motivated young people who are interested in entrepreneurship, sustainability, and practical business development.

Recent graduates or people who did well at school but didn't had university opportunities.
