LUANAR Holdings Company Limited (LHCL), incorporated on 13th September 2023 under the Companies Act, is the commercial arm and subsidiary of the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). The company is mandated to profitably and sustainably manage LUANAR's commercial enterprises, including LHCL Farms and the Fuel Service Station located at Bunda Campus.

LUANAR Holdings Company Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified, vibrant, and innovative individuals for the position of Fuel Service Station Supervisor.

Reporting to: General Manager and Finance and Administration Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily forecourt operations and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Ensure all fuel station equipment is properly maintained and functional
• Train, schedule, and supervise forecourt attendants to deliver efficient customer service
• Monitor fuel and lubricant stock levels and arrange replenishment when required
• Perform daily reconciliations of cash, credit, POS sales, and pump meter readings
• Prepare and submit daily stock and sales reports to management
• Conduct shift stock-taking exercises and investigate any stock variances
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and company events
• Prepare weekly debtors reports and invoices for credit customers
• Ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered by all service station employees
• Keep management informed of industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Conduct cash counts and submit daily cash collections for banking
• Resolve customer complaints professionally
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming service station environment
• Prepare monthly operational and performance reports for management

Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants must possess:

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
• Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration
• Minimum of 4 years' supervisory experience, preferably in a fuel service station or similar retail environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and Point of Sale (POS) systems

Working Conditions:

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors under varying weather conditions
• The successful candidate must be willing to reside within the vicinity of LUANAR Bunda Campus
