Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of IT, the Data Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and analytical models supporting business insights, risk management, and digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data in the bank’s different systems, identifying patterns, relationships, and trends.
• Identify gaps and inconsistencies and lead in data cleanup.
• Develop predictive and machine-learning models for credit scoring, fraud detection, and customer analytics.
• Prepare analytical reports and dashboards (Power BI, Python, R, SQL).
• Support regulatory reporting and enterprise digital transformation initiatives (CRB, IFRS9 reports).
• Create processes, scripts, and tools to generate accurate and timely reports.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and findings.
• Translate business needs into analytical solutions and dashboards.
• Manage and optimize data warehouses, lakes, and big data platforms.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills / Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Data Analysing / ML / Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
• ITIL Foundation.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Data Analysing, analytics, or BI in a reputable organization.
