OVERVIEW

Agricultural Trading Company Limited (ATC), a subsidiary of AHL Group Plc, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Counter Sales Clerk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for serving customers, selling agricultural-related products and services, providing product advice, and supporting effective branch sales and stock management operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Sell agricultural-related products and services to customers.
• Provide technical advice to customers on the proper use of products.
• Attend to customer enquiries and provide quality customer service.
• Support achievement of branch sales targets.

STOCK MANAGEMENT

• Liaise with Branch Supervisors on product demand and restocking requirements.
• Participate in periodic stock-taking exercises.
• Update bin cards for all stocked and delivered products.
• Ensure accurate product records are maintained.

SALES ADMINISTRATION

• Prepare daily sales summaries.
• Conduct daily banking of sales proceeds.
• Maintain accurate sales documentation.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants should possess:

• Certificate or Diploma in Business Management, Accounts, Marketing, or related field.
• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Minimum of two (2) years’ working experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
