About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about ending child marriage and advancing girls' rights in Malawi?

The Malawi Accelerator Programme (MAP) is inviting applications from qualified consultants and consulting firms for two exciting assignments aimed at accelerating action to end child marriage in Malawi.

We are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in research, advocacy, policy influence, social development, gender equality, monitoring and evaluation, and child rights programming.

Consultancy 1: Development of a Four-Year Advocacy Strategy

Objective: Support the design of a comprehensive advocacy and communication strategy that strengthens policy influence, promotes investment, advances girls' rights, and supports implementation of the National Strategy to End Child Marriage.

Key Deliverables:

• Develop a comprehensive advocacy and communication strategy to influence policies, legislation, systems, and investments that contribute to ending child marriage in Malawi

Consultancy 2: Baseline Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices (KAP) Study

Objective: Lead the development and implementation of a baseline study that will generate critical evidence on child marriage, stakeholder coordination, leadership, social norms, and community structures.

Key Deliverables:

• Lead the design and implementation of a baseline study to generate evidence on child marriage, stakeholder coordination, community structures, leadership, and social norms in programme districts
