Position Title: Company Nursing Officer

Duty Station: Lilongwe, Malawi

Employment Type: Full-Time (1-Year Contract, Renewable Subject to Performance)

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering professional nursing services within the organization, ensuring the health and well-being of employees, and promoting adherence to occupational health and safety standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide first aid and primary healthcare services to employees

- Conduct routine medical check-ups and health screenings

- Manage and respond to workplace injuries and illnesses

- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records

- Promote employee wellness and health awareness programs

- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

- Coordinate with external healthcare providers when necessary

- Oversee the management of medical supplies and clinic equipment

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution

- Registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi

- Valid and current practicing license

- Minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience

- Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety practices

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
