Astria Learning is building the leading community and knowledge hub for app professionals across Africa. We are looking for a hands-on Community Manager based in Malawi to grow, manage, and energize our community – from onboarding new members to running webinars and building lasting partnerships with influencers and industry experts.

POSITION: COMMUNITY MANAGER

JOB TYPE: Full Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Community Management:

• Manage the day-to-day life of the Ecampus HUB community: moderation, engagement, member support, and content flow.
• Build and maintain the "Master Community" structure: sub-groups, channels, and local chapters.
• Own onboarding: create and maintain clear application instructions and ensure a smooth joining experience for new members.

Growth & Partnerships:

• Coordinate with influencers and local ambassadors to drive awareness, sign-ups, and engagement.
• Support growth campaigns across Nigeria/Ghana/Malawi.

Events & Content:

• Host regular webinars and community sessions with industry experts.
• Conduct interviews with app professionals, founders, and community members for content and knowledge sharing.
• Build and curate a library of app professionals in Africa: profiles, expertise, and success stories.

KEY TARGETS (KPIs)

• Grow the community to 500,000 members within the first 6 months.
• Reach 1,000,000 members after 6 months (12-month horizon).
• Deliver a consistent cadence of webinars, interviews, and published expert profiles (targets to be agreed per quarter).

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience in community management, social media management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the local tech/creator ecosystem.
• Proven experience working with influencers and running online events/webinars.
• Self-starter, comfortable with growth targets and data-driven reporting.

NICE TO HAVE

• Existing network among app professionals, developers, or digital creators in Africa.
• Experience scaling communities to 100K+ members.
