About the Role

Reporting to the Assistant Claims Manager, this role is responsible for fulfilling promises and obligations of risks assumed by the company on behalf of its clients. It entails critical analysis of claims intimated and making sure ONLY valid claims are paid. Detection of fraudulent claims is key in minimizing claims costs and keeping loss ratios low. This role is based in Malawi

Key Responsibilities

• Issue discharge vouchers (DVs) for fully documented claims in a timely manner
• Raise payment requisition for fully executed DVs in a timely manner
• Process and pay all service providers fee notes as per the stakeholder’s agreement
• Appoint investigators and other evaluators to investigate claims within stipulated timeline
• Analyze adjuster/ Investigators claim reports to recommend settlement or otherwise
• Process fully documented claims and refer any suspicious claims to the supervisor

 Who We’re Looking For

Essential Knowledge/Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business Administration or in a Related Field or any other related field
• Diploma in Insurance
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience
