WE ARE HIRING
Assistant Accountant
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining books of accounts
- Implementing effective financial and accounting policies and procedure
- Maintaining all ledgers in accordance with internationally accepted accounting and financial reporting principles
- Preparing monthly financial statements
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations
- Performing various bank transactions
- Preparing payment vouchers and keep record of all incoming remittances
- Maintaining petty cash and proper filling of documents
- Managing and monitor cash flow and project activities versus budget targets
- Contributing to the preparation of annual budgets
- Providing financial report to the General Manager periodically
- Maintaining and implement sound administrative and internal control procedures
- Receiving and processing loan payments, expenses and requests for payments
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Financial Accounting
- Knowledge in Microfinance
- At least 2 years of experience in the field
