AGRICULTURE INTERN (1 POSITION)

OVERVIEW

MHM Farm is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated young professionals for the position of Agriculture Intern.

The successful candidate will support the Farm Manager in the implementation of day-to-day farm operations, including crop and livestock management, record keeping, and other agricultural activities aimed at improving farm productivity.

Duration: One (1) Year Contract

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Crop Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in practical farming and agricultural development.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting crop production activities, including land preparation, planting, weeding, irrigation, and harvesting.
• Assisting with livestock management, including feeding, health monitoring, and housing maintenance.
• Maintaining farm records related to production, inputs, livestock performance, and farm operations.
• Monitoring crop and livestock performance and reporting observations to the Farm Manager.
• Assisting in the implementation of agricultural projects and farm development activities.
• Supporting inventory management of farm inputs, equipment, and supplies.
• Participating in farm inspections and ensuring compliance with good agricultural practices.
• Performing any other duties assigned by the Farm Manager.
