Position: Agriculture and Agribusiness Instructor

Employment Type: Full Time

Contract Duration: Three (3) Years

Location: Chilangoma, Chileka, Blantyre, Malawi

Reporting To: Principal

OVERVIEW

Stephanos Foundation is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Agriculture and Agribusiness Instructor.

Stephanos Foundation is a Reformed Christian faith-based international NGO committed to improving the welfare of orphans and vulnerable children through care and development programmes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality, competency-based training in Agriculture and Agribusiness, mentoring learners, managing training resources, and ensuring compliance with TEVET standards and examining trade board requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, prepare, and deliver competency-based Agriculture and Agribusiness training programmes.

• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans.

• Assess learners through assignments, tests, and practical evaluations.

• Supervise and mentor apprentices while maintaining a supportive and disciplined learning environment.

• Manage and safeguard training tools, classrooms, and learning materials.

• Ensure adequate availability and proper use of training resources.

• Support curriculum development in collaboration with relevant authorities and colleagues.

• Ensure training programmes align with examining trade board requirements and TEVET standards.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants must possess:

• Diploma in Agriculture, Agri-Business, or Horticulture.

• At least three (3) years’ relevant work experience.
