ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR

Agricultural Trading Company Limited (ATC), a subsidiary company of AHL Group Plc, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of Accounts Supervisor.

Position Function

The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for supporting and provision of financial information by collecting, processing, analyzing and reporting financial data in time

Main Duties and responsibilities:

Amongst other duties, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Processing GRN and Accounts Payable invoices through SAGE.
2. Valuation of stocks including WIP on monthly basis.
3. Managing Stock Purchases and stock returns.
4. Preparing stock sheets and taking lead in stock take
5. Perform stock reconciliation on physical against system values and quantities.
6. Facilitation of audits.
7. Preparation of monthly accounts schedules for management Accounts.
8. Processing stock issue and material requisition through SAGE for factory production unit.
9. Any other related duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications/Experience/ Personal Specifications

1. Diploma in Accounting.
2. Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
3. At least 3 years’ working experience.
4. Excellent computer skills.
5. Able to meet deadlines.
6. Team player.
